Customer Service Officers (Virgo Operations)


Objectives
SCCPL is interested in forming a regular pool of temp staff to be deployed on the following days to assist in our Virgo operations:-

Working Hours
3 times a week (Wed, Fri & Sun). 

Wed           : 6.30 pm to 10.30 pm   (4 hrs)
Fri              : 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm     (4 hrs)
Sun                        : 10.30 am to 2.30 pm    (4 hrs)

Job Description
1.     Direction guide (includes crowd control to ensure smooth passenger traffic)
2.     Set up check-in and boarding areas
3.     Manage boarding process
4.     Arrange stanchions, banners & seats as required
5.     Perform guest relations duties to help create a pleasant and memorable passenger experience.
6.     Attend to passengers’ enquiries.
Job Requirements
1.     Be able to commit at least 3 months
2.     Previous customer service or relevant experience eg. customer service ambassadors etc.
3.     Proactive, pleasant disposition and takes pride in delighting customers
4.     Must be English speaking

The Trainer is responsible for the creation and execution of training classes. The Trainer provides on-going training to all groups within the Customer Contact Center and fosters a high performance culture through an effective and versatile communication style. While the Trainer is based in Singapore, he/she is expected to support the delivery of training sessions in other centers in Asia Pacific, where needed.

Requirement:

  • Minimum three-year diploma   
  • At least two years of experience in call center or hotel operations 
  • Previous training experience with a demonstrated high performance for employee development
  • Strong knowledge of Starwood reservations policies, procedures and programs (e.g. Starwood Preferred Guest, Star Choice, and Starwood Privilege) is an advantage
  • Outstanding verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese. Familiarization in Japanese / Korean language is an advantage.
  • Excellent facilitation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Able to maintain a high level of energy and work under stressful conditions
  • Strong diagnostic and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize in a rapidly changing environment
  • Result-oriented and highly motivated to succeed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of products with special emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Able to travel frequently to places including, but not limited to India and China.
