Korea Tourism Organisation - Tourism Officer

RECRUITMENT

Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) is a non-profit organization under the aegis of the Korea Ministry of Culture and Tourism (MCT).  Its aim is to promote the Korea’s tourism industry by and engaging in promotional and marketing activities for Korean tourism.  We are seeking for a proactive, energetic and motivated individual who thrive on challenges and has a passion for the destination.

Korea Plaza is a tourist information center that provides consumers with up-to-date and accurate information on Korea’s tourism.  The centre also showcases exhibits on Korean tradition, culture, technology and Hallyu (Korea Wave).  In addition, regular classes on Korean culture are available to the Public.  Both KTO and Korea Plaza are located in the same premises. 

TOURISM OFFICER

The Scope:
l  Co-ordinate the day to day operations of Korea Plaza and provide monthly reports for the Korea Plaza activities
l  Manage Public enquiries from various communication channels promptly, accurately and professionally
l  Provide marketing, research and administrative support to team
l  Perform ad-hoc job duties

Requirements:
l  Minimum Diploma holder from a recognized tertiary school
l  Singapore citizen
l  Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
l  Excellent spoken and written communication skills
l  Knowledge of Korean language will be advantageous
l  Familiar in MS applications and Internet savvy
l  Customer oriented, organized, independent with ability to multi-task and work under pressure

BBC GoodFood Asia - Junior Writer (Full-time position)

BBC GoodFood Asia, the Asian edition of the UK monthly food title, are looking for a junior writer to join us full-time.  To start as soon as possible, or at least by January 2012.

Requirements:
1. Loves food, loves to cook (this is not the glamour side of food writing i.e. restaurants tastings, but more about working with chefs, recipes and ingredients)
2. Doesn't mind getting hands dirty to cook or to buy groceries from the supermarket
3. Has a flair for writing

What we offer:
